Justin Bieber’s video for ‘Boyfriend’ is “super cool” according to the singer and shows off his new “mature” image.
The video for the debut track from new album ‘Believe’ is a step away from the 18 year-old’s clean-cut image and features shots of the star racing fast cars, partying with friends and getting close to a pretty brunette.
"I kind of switched it up from all the teasers," he told MTV. "I switched up the whole video on them, and really, I think it's super cool. I wanted to do something a little bit more mature."
The teen-idol’s bling look in the video is set to stay as the ‘Baby, Baby’ singer joked that he is going to wear his famous gold shoes “all the time.”
"I did pick out those swaggy gold shoes," he laughed. "They spray-painted them gold. That's what I'm going to do: I'm gonna start wearing gold shoes all the time."
Justin gets behind the wheel of some hot cars in the video and off screen he has been spotted driving a Range Rover and a Ferrari. But despite his cool rides the teen idol likes to drive a smart car.
"It just helps me get from point A to point B. I call it my little 'swag car'," he joked.
‘Boyfriend’ has already become a global hit and Justin promises that his next offering will be even better.
"It's crazy, because even my next single after that is going to be better." He said.
We can’t wait!
The new album ‘Believe’ is set to be released this summer.
