After seven years together and six children, it looks as though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to marry on August 11 as a nod to his parents' anniversary.
The couple, who confirmed that they were officially engaged are said to be tying the knot later this summer, and it will be a double celebration as they will be getting hitched on the same day as Brad's parents Bill and Jane celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.
It's thought that invitations will be sent out to 300 guests including the likes of George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise and Matt Damon so that they can share in their special day at their £35 million French chateau.
"They thought their kids would love the idea of seeing mom and dad get hitched followed by a big bash for them as well as 'Meemaw and Grandpa' as they call Brad's folks," a source told the Daily Star Sunday.
"[Jolie] came up with the idea of making it a real family celebration by merging Bill and Jane's special day with theirs."
"Brad's family mean a lot to Angelina, especially since she lost her own mum Marcheline to ovarian cancer more than five years ago and spent years refusing to talk to her father," the insider continued. "The kids have been asking when they're going to get married for years. Now they are pretty much the main reason Brad and Angelina are tying the knot."
The couple, who have 10-year-old Maddox, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, will have their children heavily involved in the ceremony.
Angelina's father Jon Voight is over the moon that Brad and Angie are going to be getting married, although he hasn't spoken to her about it yet.
