Chico definitely made our Sundays when he appeared on Dancing On Ice. The X Factor reject was a natural on the ice, showcasing moves that even the most flexible of us would flinch away from.
We guess that's all down to his background as a striptease dancer then?
It's Chico time
Chico is completely unabashed about his past, talking openly to The Sun about the career which set him on the path to fame.
"I say this without an atom’s worth of arrogance, but I was considered one of the best."
And, when pressed as to WHY he was the best, he had a very cryptic answer...
"I was moving parts they didn’t think possible."
Wow! No wonder he managed to make Jane Torvill blush during rehearsal time for DOI.
However, despite putting in an awesome sexy dance routine for his Dancing On Ice routine, Chico is adamant that he will not be returning to his stripping career... no matter how high the demand!
"No, I’m afraid I left those days and changed my ways. It was a perfect opportunity to do it on DOI, though, and still get away with it. At the age of 40, I thought. 'Why not?' It brought a few smiles and raised a few temperatures. I was just charging the batteries so the husbands and boyfriends can reap the benefits."
We're very sad that the clock won't be striking Chico Time again. At least we can get our Chico fix when he joins the Dancing On Ice tour later this year.
