Evanna Lynch graced the red carpet on Saturday for the premiere of the studio tour along with fellow cast members including Rupert Grint and Tom Felton looking every inch the Hollywood actress, but she revealed that she never got dressed up for work.
The 20-year-old Irish star looked glamorous and was not used to the home set of Harry Potter, in Watford, looking so spruced up.
Lynch formerly played the Ravenclaw student, Luna Lovegood - a permanently surprised girl in the year below Harry, whom J.K Rowling often referred to as the “anti-Hermione”.
She said:“Its strange to be back on the red carpet – because it's normally in Leicester Square!”
The starlet was surprised by the glitz and glamour in what she remembers as the workplace for the best part of her life, and admits it was a stark contrast to when she would turn up “looking a wreck”.
“We were not thinking about it being a film,” she told EntertainmentWise.
She added: “When we were filming, we would be thinking of it as a job – we wouldn't think of it being on camera.”
In answer to whether she stole any memorabilia for herself whilst on set, she said: “No, I couldn't, but my friend took a little bit of Hagrid's hut,” she said. We believe you, Evanna...
Despite the Harry Potter series coming to an end, the future looks bright for the young Irish actress, who has already completed a drama project.
She said: “I did a TV series a few months ago – I can't say too much about it, but it's going to be on Sky this Summer.”
Looks like Evanna should be prepared for more red carpet glamour in the near future.
