Whitney Houston Movie Plans Denied By Clive Davis

Speculation is false

A spokesperson for Clive Davis has denied the speculation surrounding plans for a Whitney Houston biopic.

Reports have been flying around that the producer, who was a long-term friend and colleague of the late icon, had been planning to pay tribute by telling the story of her life on the big screen.

Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks and Brandy were among the names being linked to the pivotal role, with Willow Smith allegedly approached to portray Houston as a child.

Speaking to Gossip Cop, a rep denied all reports, saying: "There is no truth to this. Clive is not putting together a biopic."

Davis was one of many speakers at Whitney's funeral in New Jersey on February 18. The 'I Will Always Love You' singer died on February 11 at the age of 48.
