James Corden has revealed that Adele was “really upset” after her acceptance speech was cut short at the Brit Awards this week.
The singer, who picked up the biggest award of the night 'Best Album' was cut off after 20 seconds by host James Corden after bosses had told him to “go in” because the show was over running.

It should have been Adele's homecoming following her Grammy Award win two weeks ago but instead of tears of joy she was left distraught after the incident.
Earlier in the night the 23 year-old had repeated her amazing performance at last year's ceremony with a rendition of 'Rolling In The Deep' which had the entire audience on their feet.
Clearly shocked and upset the London-born star gave the middle finger to Brit bosses as she left the stage, furious at their actions.
James told The Sun: "I went straight to Adele's dressing room and she was fine with me, but really upset.”
"She had a speech and had a list of people she wanted to thank." He added.
The 33 year-old said he was furious at ITV bosses after they put him in the awkward position of interrupting the biggest star on the planet.

The Gavin and Stacey star went on: "The truth is, just after Adele said, 'Thank you' people were saying, 'You have to go in now'."
The distraught actor, who presented the award show for the second time admitted: “I was so upset and can understand why Adele was. I didn't even watch Blur, one of my favourite bands.”
An ITV Spokesman blamed the pressures of live TV for the error.
Fans and celebrities immediately took to twitter to condemn the decison with many blaming the host and Blur for stealing Adele's big moment.
