Cher Lloyd has responded to criticism for her engagement to her boyfriend Craig Monk at a young age by insisting she'd be married already if it wasn't for the X Factor.
The 'Want U Back' singer told Heat Magazine, "I'm from a Gypsy background! I'm meant to be married by now. I'm 18 years old. I know I've got my whole life ahead of me, but why not get hitched now?"
The singer's X Factor success means she's been a little busy over the past twelve months, so hasn't time for a lavish wedding.

Of the criticism Cher added, "People are negative no matter what you do. People are always going to say 'She's too young!' It's just a constant criticising."
"I'm happy, really happy. I love him to pieces, more than anything in the world," she said of her husband to be before adding, "I don't want people to take that away from me."
