Despite the controversy that has surrounded ITV1's Saturday night dating show, Take Me Out, reports have now revealed that US TV network, FOX are keen to remake the show for an American audience.

According to Entertainment Weekly, FOX have already started casting for a remake of the hit show, which is fronted by comedian Paddy McGuiness.

The show revolves around a single man trying to impress 30 girls, who stand on a lighted podium which they can turn off if they're not interested in the man in front of them.

In a series of rounds, the single man is asked questions to reveal his real character, before choosing a woman (who still has her light on) to take on a date which is filmed for the show.
