X Factor USA's Rachel Crow Lands TV & Record Deals

She'll be a fixture of Nickelodeon

The X Factor USA's Rachel Crow has landed a recording contract with Columbia Records, and a TV deal with Nickelodeon.

The star was eliminated in a storm of controversy in the talent show's quarter-final, when Nicole Scherzinger put the vote to deadlock and Crow was sent home over Marcus Canty.

Crow's music career will be a joint venture with Syco Records, run by her show mentor Simon Cowell.

Rachel will aim for superstardom with her music and own TV show

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she said: "It's been amazing. A couple [of] days after the elimination I just found myself sitting home asking myself, 'What am I going to do now?' And I never would've thought that this is what I was going do now. So, it's pretty amazing. I'm very thankful and I feel very blessed to have all this."

As part of her TV deal, she will appear in at least five episodes of upcoming series Fred: The Show, and she will also star in her own musical comedy pilot.

Astro, Canty and Chris Rene have all joined the show's winner Melanie Amaro on Epic Records.
