A woman who filed a lawsuit after falling over on the TV judge's driveway will be awarded a seven-figure sum in damages.
Paula: $900k poorer
Jill Kohl was injured in 2009 on Paula's property while the former American Idol panellist was shooting her reality show Hey Paula.
Abdul will have to cough up $900,000, whilst another $100,000 will come from the show's production company, according to TMZ. The site had initially reported back in 2009 that Kohl was only out to grab around $25,000.
Kohl had argued that the driveway was in "a dangerous and defective condition" at the time of her injury.
In what is shaping up to be a not-too-great start to 2012, Paula was also axed from The X Factor USA last month along with colleague Nicole Scherzinger and presenter Steve Jones.
