Mariah Carey 'Almost Incapable' Of Discussing Whitney Houston Death

Mariah Carey has admitted she is still finding it difficult to talk about Whitney Houston's passing.

The star found out about her friend's death whilst in hospital caring for dangerously ill husband Nick Cannon.

Appearing on Good Morning America, she admitted: "I'm almost incapable of talking about this still. It's very heavy emotionally."

Of the funeral, she said: "It was gorgeous. Such a class act. The way she went out and the way the family dealt with it, I was very moved."

Whitney recorded a duet with Mariah in the 1990s, which cemented their tight friendship.

Mariah continued: "There was always this supposed rivalry in the beginning and then we did the duet and we became friends. I saw her toward the end. I loved her. We all loved her. May she rest in peace."
