Lana Del Rey has admitted that being an artist is her biggest indulgence.
The hitmaker, who was No. 1 for two weeks with her debut album Born To Die, added that she considers it "beautiful" to be able to make a money from her biggest love.
"My biggest indulgence is being an artist," she told LoveCat. "I still think it's beautiful that I make music for a living. The music videos that I make myself are expensive and it takes money to clear all the copyrights.
"My second indulgence is diamonds. I have a jeweller in Brooklyn named Uri and he makes me all my custom gold and diamond pieces - grills, triple rings, etc."
Fergie Under-Hamilton, who signed Del Rey to her record label, recently told Music Week: "She had three CDs-worth of songs written, with loads of brilliant tracks - enough for us to do the album and a deluxe and still have stuff left for later records.
"She's a really talented writer and a remarkable lyricist."
