X-Factor contestant Marcus Collins has reportedly split from his long-term boyfriend.
The runner-up has apparently parted ways with David Heath, his boyfriend of four years. The 23-year-old is said to have no time for a relationship following new found fame after his stint on the X-Factor late last year. According to Heat, it was Marcus’ hectic schedule which was to blame.
Since becoming a runner-up on the show, the former hairdresser has had nothing but public appearances and recording his debut single. David is said to be very understanding of Marcus’ situation, having had X-Factor fame in 2006.

David was part of boy band, Eton Road, which came in fifth place. A year later Marcus joined the group, replacing the lead singer where the couple met. Soon after, the couple began dating and shared a flat together. His hectic schedule is yet to calm down with the X-Factor tour beginning on February 25th and his debut single and album out in March.
His spokesman is yet to comment but Marcus took to twitter earlier to announce his excitement for this evening’s Brit Awards. He said: “So excited for the brits tonight!! Gna b an amazing experience! The best in uk music #gwwwwerd.”
