With rehearsals for the 2012 Brit Awards ceremony well under way nerves are beginning to kick in for all those involved.
Host James Corden will take to the Brits stage in a matter of hours and even though it’s his second time presenting he’s still feeling the pressure. He tweeted last night: “I can't sleep. Nerves starting to kick in about the Brits tomorrow!”
James wasn’t the only one having a sleepless night. Jls star Aston Merrygold, tweeted: “Morning.. So today's the day!! N yep.. Your right.. I haven't slept! Ax.”
Although James and Aston had trouble sleeping due to nerves, British Male Solo nominee, Ed Sheeran, tweeted: “Feels like I'm waking up to take a big exam today.” Describing tonight’s upcoming show as ‘surreal,’ Ed also added: “@Jrwoolfw either way, it's been a good year, awards or no awards.” Regardless if the singer scoops an award or not, Ed will be on stage performing his single, ‘Lego House.’
Meanwhile, One Direction's Niall Horan Tweeted to say; "Goodmorning! big big day today! Sooo nervous but excited,thank you all who have voted for us."

One Direction get ready for BRITs
Professor Green, who is also nominated in the same category as Sheeran, tweeted his excitement for tonight’s ceremony: “Best of luck to everybody at the #britawards tonight, looking forward to seeing everyone!”
Rapper Example has been nominated for British Single for The Way You Kissed Me and tweeted to fans: “Is the Brits being televised live tmrw? If so I might buy some new socks.” However, the modest star later said: “Regardless of who wins at the Brits just remember the most important thing is a loyal fanbase. Awards are there to make the mums proud.”
Whilst some are nervous, other stars took to twitter to tell fans of their excitement for tonight’s show. Pixie lott said: “Can't wait to see @officialadele performing! Xx.” British female solo artist, Jessie J also shared her delight, tweeting: “Its the @BRIT_Awards today!!! Woah what a year I'm going to celebrate tonight!”
