VIDEO: The Moment When BBC Weatherman Drops The 'C Word' On Live TV

Epic fail...

We're not quite sure how he did it, but BBC weatherman Alex Deakin managed to drop "c***" on live TV.

During a live weather forecast over the weekend, the 37-year-old managed to mix up the word sunshine and well, the 'C word'.

In a bright, and breezy manner - Deakin told viewers: "By and large it's simply and lovely winter's day tomorrow, bucketloads of c---, er, sunshine across central and eastern areas."

Deakin was meant to say "sunshine over central and eastern areas" but it didn't come out as planned.

According to the weatherman he actually wanted to say "countryside" but when he was halfway through he realised it wasn't right and stopped.

Deakin has been working for the BBC Weather Centre for 12 years and he later tweeted: "The less said the better about that broadcast", including the hashtag P45 indicating he was worried about losing his job.

When a user tweeted asking if it had been a "naughty word" or even a "wardrobe malfunction", he replied: "not A naughty word THE naughty word."
