Whitney Houston's godmother Darlene Love has denied the rumours that the singer's daughter went missing after the funeral.
It had been reported 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina disappeared after the four-hour service on Saturday (February 18) and was later found 'getting high' by her family members.
According to the sixties singer, Love, 70, stated that the teen was surrounded by her family the whole time following the ceremony.
When asked by Access Hollywood about Bobbi Kristina's disappearing act, she said: "Not true. Not true. She was with us and she was with the family the whole time. She's been with the family these last couple of days. We all know where she is, she's not missing."
The Daily Beast claimed that Bobbi Kristina was noticeably absent from the family dinner at a New Jersey restaurant.
A family friend told the website: "Everyone was freaking out and calling Bobbi Kristina's cell. It was so much commotion and activity after the funeral that Bobbi Kristina just slipped away. Ms. Cissy [Houston] was beside herself."
Even Love's explanation of Bobbi Kristina's whereabouts seems to contradict what the family told the website, as a family spokesperson said: "There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina’s whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK. She needed some time alone."
It was rumoured that Bobbi Kristina, whose father is Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown, had turned to drugs following the news that her mother had died.
According to reports, the family were torn as to whether she should go straight to rehab or mourn with them.
Family friend BeBe Winans denied knowledge about sending the teen to rehab, but said that she was coping well under the circumstances.
"I don’t know anything about rehab," he told Access Hollywood. "I can tell you from being around her, pretty much all her life, and at the same time being around her in this dark valley, she’s doing wonderful. She’s doing wonderful."
