Dame Judi Dench has hit back at rumours that she is going blind.
The actress has admitted that while she is struggling with her sight there is no chance that she will go blind as a result of the eye condition she referred to as ‘macular degeneration’.
According to The Metro the ‘James Bond’ star released a statement that said: “I do not wish for this to be overblown."
"This condition is something that thousands and thousands of people all over the world are having to contend with. It's something that I have learnt to cope with and adapt to - and it will not lead to blindness."
The 77 year-old previously told The Mirror that she could no longer read scripts because her eye sight was so poor and that she had to have them read to her instead and often struggles to see people’s faces.
