Emma Watson was forced to deny rumours that she was a lesbian after she had her hair cut into a short crop.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star chopped all her hair off after the last instalment of the wizarding saga was completed but lead to a whole host of accusations about her private life.
She told The Independent: "I had journalists asking me if this meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now.”
The actress has in the past been linked to her ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ co-star Johnny Simmons as well as financier Jay Barrymore and Burberry model George Craig and confessed that the interest made her more aware of her actions.
The 21 year-old revealed: “That haircut did make me realise how subjective everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people just thought I'd lost my s**t."
The actress, who is currently studying at Oxford University, admitted that after being in the spotlight since the age of eleven she relies on her instincts to get on in the showbiz world.
The star said: "All I can do is follow my instincts because I'll never please everyone."
Since finishing the final 'Harry Potter' installment the brunette has admitted that she has found it difficult to get use to normal life again.
