If there's anyone who experienced first-hand Whitney Houston's desire to make a proper comeback, it's Jordin Sparks.
The American Idol champion had recently finished filming a re-make of the movie 'Sparkle', in which Houston played her mother, when the legendary singer tragically passed away. The film is set to be released this summer.

Jordin disappeared from her usually active Twitter page following Whitney's death, and released no official statement.
However she wrote in the aftermath of Saturday's star-studded funeral service: "We laid a beautiful angel to rest today. Youre at peace now singing in the heavens & in His loving arms. I love you so much Mama Whitney. <3 (sic)"
She later added: "It's been a long, exhausting & beautiful day. Crawling into bed."
Her grandmother had told Phoenix's Fox 10 last week: "I received a phone call from Jordin. She was in tears. She is utterly devastated."
