Madonna reportedly paid tribute to Whitney Houston at the weekend during a night out with her backing dancers.
Both pop divas were worldwide superstars in the 80s and 90s, and appear together in the US Billboard Top 10 for the first time since 1996 this week.
The 53-year-old 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' singer was at the Mister H club in New York City's Mondrian Soho hotel when she got into the Houston spirit, according to Us Weekly.

A source said: "Madonna was sitting down, watching as her dancers showed up their skills. When the DJ began to spin Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody,' Madonna perked up and started lip-synching the words."
The insider added that when Madge realised how much of the dancefloor her private area was taking up, she asked security personnel to make it smaller so everyone else in the club would be able to join in.
Whitney was given a final send-off with a 3-and-a-half-hour funeral service on Saturday (February 18) in New Jersey.
