The Voice coach Jessie J seems to be taking this new judging role fairly seriously, and the feisty singer has even warned everyone that she is prepared to be the unsympathetically honest one on the panel alongside Tom Jones, will.i.am and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, Jessie said: “I may be young but I'm not scared of being critical. I like how Simon Cowell says exactly what he thinks whether people like it or not. I don't care if people don’t like me and I’m prepared for that.

The ‘Domino’ singer added: “Even if they are on my team that doesn’t mean I’m going to say it was good if it wasn’t. I’m not a robot. I sing out of tune sometimes so I’m not scared to tell someone else if they have.

“I’m going to be honest. That’s what the industry needs more of right now.”

Jessie shows her wild side!

Although Jessie is prepared to dish out the constructive criticism, she has admitted that she is terrified of messing up on national television: “I’m not going to lie. I’m sh***ing myself but in a good way. And I’m really happy that I’m the only girl on the panel.”

Are you going to tune in The Voice? We can’t wait to hear Jessie J and the other Voice coaches perform a group cover of the Black Eyed Peas song ‘I Gotta Feeling.’
