Marvin Humes has admitted that he messed up his words for the first time ever when it came to proposing to his girlfriend, Rochelle Wiseman of The Saturdays.
The happy couple have spoken about the romantic holiday which saw Rochelle returning to the UK with a custom made sparkler on her finger, with Marvin admitting that he was not exactly clear with his words.
"I can’t tell you how many times I’d rehearsed what to say, but when the moment came to speak it all went to pieces – the only time I’ve ever messed my words up!" Marvin told Hello!

Marvin, who asked Rochelle's uncle (footballer Paul Ince) for her hand in marriage before the couple left for the Maldives, added:
'I was stuttering and stumbling, I said to Rochelle, "I want to make you the happiest man… No, I mean I want you to make me the happiest man". It was getting all confused.
However, things are even better for the couple now they're set to wed: 'From the moment I slipped that engagement ring on Rochelle’s finger I’ve felt a tighter bond with her. I assume marriage will make that closeness even greater.'
Rochelle is currently on Los Angeles with The Saturdays, where she spotted Kim Kardashian in a nail salon last week.
