Following the news that Natalie Cassidy was giving her relationship with violent boyfriend Adam Cottrell another go, her fellow EastEnders actress, Patsy Palmer has taken to Twitter to show her support.
Whilst many might think Natalie, who appeared in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, is crazy for getting back with someone who was convicted of assaulting her, Patsy, who plays Natalie's on-screen sister, Bianca Butcher, believes that Natalie and Adam can make it work after he vowed to give up alcohol.
Taking to Twitter, the actress wrote: "I'd like to wish Nat_Cassidy and Adam and Eliza all my love. Having a family in recovery from alcoholism is the greatest gift... peace!!."
Defending her decision to take Adam back after being accused of glorifying domestic abuse, Natalie tweeted over the weekend:
"Domestic violence is NOT OKAY. I am with Adam because he has stopped drinking. Please do not think I'm stupid."
