Whether you’re Team Arg or Team Lydia, it’s always hard to go through a breakup, and although its been going on for some weeks now tonight appeared the be the final nail in the coffin for their relationship.
The Only Way Is Essex couple, who were in a happy 4-year relationship until earlier this year, have finally come to terms that this is the end for them, with the pair sitting down and finally having that much-needed chat.
Even though publicly Lydia has been separated from Arg and has been very flirty with new costar Ricky Rayment, tonight she revealed that she has still been secretly seeing her ex, which Lydia’s mum Debbie says leading to poor Arg getting “mixed messages.”
Lydia invites Arg over to talk to him and admits to her teary ex-boyfriend: “I know how down you’ve been.”
Arg explains: “It’s very hard to see you every day for 4 years and then not at all.”
Although Lydia comforts Arg, she is still firm with him about them not getting back together, stating: “I cannot be with you now Arg.”
It seems like lost Arg is finally coming to understand that this is the end for him and his beloved Lydia, emotionally telling his ex: “You’re the only girl who ever gave me a chance,” tearfully confessing that other girls never looked twice at him because he weighed 18 stone and had a skinhead.
He adds: “If it wasn’t for you I might never have been in love with anyone. Someone would never had loved me back.”
It’s a very sad end for the couple – do you think they will ever move on from each other?
