Many people have found themselves deeply saddened by the death of Whitney Houston, but none more so than the guests staying at the Beverly Hilton, where the singer's body was discovered last Saturday.

TMZ has reported that a large number of guests staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel the day Whitney Houston died have stated that their stay was "absolutely unbearable" due to commotion surrounding the singer's death.

Worse still, the hotel has apparently done nothing to address this.

It seems that, predictably, those staying on the fourth floor (where Whitney's suite was based) were those most affected, with the entire floor on lockdown over the weekend and heightened security measures, not to mention law enforcement and EMS making a great deal of noise as they investigated the death.

We guess that would've made a good night's sleep difficult although, to be honest, we'd find the presence of a body in the hotel (cause of death at the time unknown) far more unsettling than the police presence!

However, the hotel is refusing to meet their customers' requests for a refund. Guests who have complained have been asked to fill out an official complaint form at the hotel desk which, as you can imagine, has got quite a few peoples backs up...

A rep for the hotel explained that the staff were firstly and foremost tasked with protecting the privacy of the incident, as well as cooperating with the police:

"Given the extraordinary nature of the events of last Saturday evening, The Beverly Hilton took every precaution to protect the privacy of the Houston Family as well as the hotel guests who may have been impacted by the incident... The hotel cooperated fully with the Beverly Hills police which included securing the fourth floor to insure the safety and well-being of all guests ... and regrets any inconvenience that may have occurred in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s events."

We're sure there's a reason to complain guys, but maybe today, the day of Whitney's funeral, isn't really the best (or most tasteful) time to do it...
