Whitney Houston's funeral will be picketed by Westboro Baptist Church today as part of yet another hate campaign from the extremist religious group.

Their spokesperson Margie J Phelps made the agenda known on Twitter, writing: "Yay! 2 pickets in NJ-Whitney Houston funeral & [gay marriage bill legislature]."

She accused Houston, who passed away last Saturday (February 11) of "stealing God's glory".

The Westboro Baptist Church have previously picketed the Golden Globes, Elizabeth Taylor's funeral and the 2011 movie 'Red State'.

Houston's funeral will take place at noon today (February 18) in New Jersey, and will be streamed live on certain networks around the world, and online.

Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will sing at the service.
