When Rihanna hosted her birthday party in Hollywood this week, ex-boyfriend Chris Brown was by her side. Now it seems they are ready to make a public show of their relationship as the rapper is set to duet with the star on her re-mixed version of “Birthday Cake”.
Da Internz, who produced the remixed version of the short but sexy track said the secret cameo would “shock the world”.
They told MTV: "It's gonna be crazy. “And the feature on there is gonna shock the world."
Reports circulated following the comments that the secret guest vocalist was none other than her 22 year-old ex-boyfriend, which was confirmed by Hot 97's Miss Info who wrote on her blog that two “independent sources” confirmed the track.
The reunion would certainly shock the world.
The ‘F.A.M.E’ singer shocked the world three years ago when he assaulted the ‘Rude Boy’ star following a pre-Grammy Bash. A restraining order keeping the pair apart finished last February and reports that they were getting back together have been rife since then.
The rapper reportedly forced party-goers to sign confidentiality agreements to keep his presence at the party a secret.
Even if they are only collaborating, musically, seeing the pair together will still upset fans who have not forgiven the rapper for attacking the pop star.
We will have to wait until the 23 year-old’s birthday next Monday (Feb.20) to find out who the mystery man is....
