Nick Cannon has been forced to give up his radio show due to on-going health issues the star has announced.
The 31 year-old was hospitalised in January following kidney failure and earlier this week he revealed that he had been back in hospital over the weekend after blood clots were found in his lungs.
According to The Washington Post doctors discovered that a ventricle in his heart was enlarged.
The presenter, who hosts the ‘Rollin’ With Nick Cannon’ show on US radio said in a statement: "Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule."
The husband of Mariah Carey, who has nine-month old twins with the singer tried to downplay ther seriousness of the situation and claimed his body just needed a “reboot” he said: "I did have some major issues with my kidneys, along with some other stuff."
"But really I had just overworked my body. The doctors had to reboot my entire immune system, and I'm working through that now." He added.
