Alexandra Burke has revealed that she has cried every day since Whitney Houston passed away last weekend.
Speaking exclusively to Entertainmentwise, Alexandra revealed that she did not believe it when she was first told about the death of one of her musical icons.
"My sister BBM'd me and I did not believe her. I was on my computer and I thought it was a Twitter lie. The I turned on the news and they confirmed it and I completely broke down. I'm stil a mess from that news. Whitney is someone who still means so much to me. It still hasn't sunk in and it doesn't feel like we've lost the voice."
Adding: "She will always be remembered for her amazing talent and my prayers go out to her daughter who is still so young and doesn't deserve to lose her Mother so young."
Meanwhile, Alexandra also told us about her friend who saw Whitney performing live last Thursday, February 9th.
"I spoke to someone who saw Whitney at an event on Thursday and I was on the phone to her, she said 'Whitney's here, I just thought I'd call you because I know how much you love her." It still hasn't sunk in and I've cried about it today. "
Describing what she knew of Whitney's state on that Thursday, Alexandra said: "She had a few drinks, looked a bit tipsy, looked like she was having fun and nothing was wrong with her and that's what is so crazy."
