Beloved country singer Dolly Parton may be swapping singing for dancing ‘9 to 5’ as she is reportedly about to sign up to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy when Dancing With The Stars returns to our TV screens.
It is thought that fellow country singer Billy Ray Cyrus suggested that the Dancing With The Stars producers contact the well-endowed singer, who is apparently “close to signing on the dotted line!”
A source for HollywoodLife said: “Dolly has sung on the show in the past, and made a great impression on the dancers and producers. Discussions have started… and her request is to dance with Mark Ballas!”
Although Dolly fans are ecstatic at the prospect of seeing her take part in the popular celebrity dancing show, Gossip Cop has rubbished these claims, having spoken to Dolly’s rep who says that the Dancing With The Stars report is “absolutely false, false, false.”
