Aretha Franklin looks set to perform at Whitney Houston's funeral at the personal request of Whitney's family.

Franklin is amongst the stars confirmed to attend the funeral, which takes place this Saturday in New Jersey and will be streamed live on the internet.

Other icons from throughout Whitney's life confirmed to be at the funeral include Marvin L Winans, X Factor USA judge LA Reid, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Chaka Khan, Darlene Love, Diane Warren, Ray J and Brandy.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Houston's family are upset that Clive David pre-Grammy party went ahead just hours after Whitney was found dead in her hotel room.
