Hollywood actress Chloë Sevigny has labelled Manchester one of the “grimmest” places on the planet after spending five months filming there last year.
While most people in Manchester won’t know – or care- who Chloë Sevigny is, she has formed quite an opinion on their fair city. The actress spent five months in Manchester to film the TV series Hit and Miss and didn’t exactly enjoy the experience.
Although the blonde fashion icon likes to be seen as edgy and quirky, clearly the home of Oasis and Take That was too far from her Hollywood bubble.
According to HolyMoly the star said: “It was very hard being in Manchester. It was one of the grimmest places that I’d ever been in my entire life, and I was there for so long. I hardly had any visitors. I was so alone."
And the worst thing that poor Chloe had to put up with?
She went on: “It rained every single day I was there.”
“I was like, 'I’ve gotta get the hell out of here. I’m not staying one more night just to hear them,’ so I left.”
While a bit of rain won’t shock us Brits, for sensitive Chloe is was just too much as she was forced to flee the city.
Proof It Rains In Hollywood Too...
