The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Goodger has revealed that she is "devastated" that her new salon was petrol bombed last night.
Having just opened the doors to the public yesterday, reports this morning revealed that the star's shop, Lauren's Way, was targeted by youths and petrol bombed last night. Despite minimal damage being done to the store, a spokesperson for Essex Police told the Mail Online that the people living above Lauren's new venture had to be evacuated.
Upset by last night's events, Lauren told us: "I am devastated that individuals could vandalise my new shop, I didn’t realise there were so many nasty and bitter people out there. I’m just glad that no one was in the shop at the time as the attack could have been a lot worse."
The star, who has become the second TOWIE star to be attacked after Sam and Billie Faiers were viciously attacked outside a nightclub last year, added:
"I feel awful for the people with young families who live in the flats above my business, nobody deserves this for just being on a TV show!”
In the early hours of this morning, Lauren took to Twitter about the upsetting attack, as she wrote: "Thanks for you're lovely messages tonight.. In bed with lydia and Georgia 3 in a bed won't be able to sleep tonight..#angelslookingover."
