Paul McCartney has revealed that the birth of his daughter convinced him to stop smoking cannabis.
The iconic former Beatles star was well known for being a big smoker but tells the new issue of Rolling Stone that when daughter Beatrice was born in 2003 he realised he had to change his ways.
"I did a lot, and it was enough. I smoked my share," Paul says.
"When you're bringing up a youngster, your sense of responsibility does kick in. Enough's enough."
Beatrice, 8, is Paul McCartney's only child with ex-wife Heather Mills.
Earlier this week, Paul was seen paying tribute to the late Whitney Houston in Beverly Hills with his wife Nancy Shevell. The couple laid a bunch of yellow roses in the star's memory.
