With the red carpet all rolled out and fans waiting to enter her shop, it appeared as though The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren's Goodger's latest venture, a salon, was going to be successful.
However, fast forward 24 hours and the shop that Lauren opened for the first time yesterday now has broken windows and police standing outside after it was petrol bombed by thugs last night.
Speaking of the incident, an Essex Police spokesperson told the Mail Online that the arson attack only caused minimal damage, however the people living above Lauren's shop had to be evacuated.
Tweeting about her excitement of opening her shop for the first time to the public, Lauren wrote yesterday:
"In my salon sorry for everyone queing (sic) outside won't be long guys and we can all do pictures and signings x x x"
Taking to Twitter again after the attack on her shop took place, the reality star wrote: "Thanks for you're lovely messages tonight.. In bed with lydia and Georgia 3 in a bed won't be able to sleep tonight..#angelslookingover."
Lauren''s reps have been contacted and are yet to comment.
