Well, not for a while anyway. It'd be just too morbid, wouldn't it...

Sources have suggested that the Beverly Hilton had already rebooked the suite in which Whitney Houston died, but this is completely untrue.

The Beverly Hilton is a classy establishment and, despite all the media hype surrounding the death of Whitney Houston, are not prepared to cash in on fans' morbid fascination.

Despite a TMZ report claiming otherwise, E! News has been confirmed that the suite remains unoccupied and will remain unoccupied for the forseeable future:

"It was not rented, it is not rented and it will not be rented in the foreseeable future."

TMZ had already run stories claiming that the already infamous room 434 currently had a party staying in Whitney's "death room", but the spokesperson for the hotel has claimed that the site never contacted them to confirm the accuracy of their claim.

Wow. That would have been horrifying otherwise, wouldn't it?

Whilst the folks at Sony are all for making a little money out of the tragedy (an extra £3 for a Houston album? Hmm...) the people at the Beverly Hilton are made from finer stuff.

Whitney Houston died on Saturday; her body was found facedown in the bathtub of room 434 at the Beverly Hilton. Her body will be buried this coming weekend in a private ceremony.
