Madonna, Queen of Pop, we hereby find you (possibly) guilty of plagiarism...
If Madonna thought the M.I.A middle-finger incident at this year's Super Bowl was bad news, she's probably less than happy to hear she faces a potential lawsuit over her latest single 'Give Me All Your Luvin''.
Brazilian singer Joao Brasil has said that the track's chorus contains elements from his song "L.O.V.E. Banana". Does anyone remember when Nicola Roberts said the same thing about "Beat Of My Drum" - this is one popular track!
However, whilst the record company are citing a possible lawsuit over the track, Brasil is less than keen to go head-to-head with Madge:
"I still don't understand what happened. I'm a huge fan of hers. If it's plagiarism, then even better. She is always at the cutting edge of music, so it's a good sign about what I do... It's in [the record label's] hands, they're looking at how to proceed and what they can do. But personally I don't want to do anything. The last thing I need in my life is a fight with Madonna."
Yiesh, we don't blame you. She's pretty good with a high-kick, as proven at this year's Super Bowl performance. Madge could wreak a lot of pain with very little effort...
