The Jonas Brothers have confirmed that they will return to the music scene in 2012.
The US boyband have gone their seperate ways since their 2009 album 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times' with solo projects and stage careers pursued by the three brothers.
However, they will come back together with new material later on this year as Joe told MTV News: "In the next few weeks, we're going to be going to New York and we're gonna start writing for another project."
Adding: "It's going to be, I think, our best record yet. I'm so excited."
Meanwhile, brother Kevin added: "We want to be able to do things this year. We have plans that nobody really knows about yet, performances that are already lined up and we have music already recorded too. Probably close to the end of the year or next year."
