Matt Smith has said he would be perfectly fine with getting naked for a film role, after seeing Michael Fassbender's BAFTA-nominated turn in 'Shame'.
The actor currently battles all sorts of terrifying other-worldly enemies in 'Doctor Who', but could be set to cause some frights of his own if he puts his money where his mouth is.
Speaking at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards earlier this week, he is quoted by Holy Moly as saying: "I think 'Shame' was brilliant and Michael magnetic in it. One day I would love to do something similar and maybe work with director Steve McQueen."
He also added: "Of course I would get naked for a role. I’ve got naked on stage so why not on screen?"
Because, Matt, millions more people would see it and it would be there, recorded in high-definition, for all eternity!
The star picked up an award for Best Actor at the National Television Awards last month.
