Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan didn’t seem to have read the invitation to the Prince's Trust Valentine's Ball as she showed up to the black tie event with husband and fellow Strictly dancer James in a short tight-fitting blue dress.
Whilst other stars were wearing more appropriate floor length gowns, the 29-year old showed off her toned dancer’s figure in a dress with a cascading asymmetrical neckline, with a hem that finished way above her knees.
Similarly husband James ignored the dress code, neglecting to wear a tie with his dapper black suit.
It seemed like the night was full of fashion disasters, as the pair were joined at Mayfair House by JLS stars Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold, who were making the wrong kind of fashion statement with their matching studded black loafers.
Aston was Marvin’s date to the event, as his fiancée Rochelle Wiseman is currently in Los Angeles with the rest of her bandmates in the Saturdays.
At the event Aston laughed off rumours that he is dating Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby, who he was recently spotted taking out for a meal.
The JLS singer told The Manchester Evening News: 'I’ve known Emma for a few years. she’s a lovely girl. But that was just a bit of lunch between two friends in Manchester.
“But hey, you never know. She’s recently become single again so maybe I should do something about it.”
Doing a bit better in the style stakes was former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon, who wore a plunging red halterneck gown, and Steps star Faye Tozer, who looked elegant in strapless, dusky rose dress and white fur wrap.
Other guests included former EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, model Noelle Reno, TV presenter and former Page Three girl Linda Lusardi and 'Allo! 'Allo! actress Vicki Michelle, who all looked elegant in dark dresses.
Former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips went for contrasting black and white, and model April Summers wowed onlookers in a slinky floor-length white gown.
