Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding JR is planning to move to the UK to work on British films.
The 'Jerry Maguire' star is taking the move seriously, he's already bagged himself a UK agent. And there's one Brit in particular Cuba is desperate to impress, director Steve McQueen.
McQueen's latest film 'Shame' was nominated for Outstanding British Film at last weekend's BAFTAs. Cuba attended the awards show and went for dinner with the director earlier this week. The meeting apparently went well with Cuba saying:
"I've met too many wonderful people here. I just had dinner with Steve last night, who said he's excited about his next thing and wants to talk to me about it."
"I hate that I come to England and I don't know the films or haven't watched the TV shows; it frustrates the hell out of me. So I'm going to come over here for a bit and see if I can inject myself into something."
