Elizabeth Olsen has lived in the shadow of her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, and she admits that there were points of her childhood that were "abnormal".
The 'Martha Marcy May Marlene', whose sisters became a multi-million dollar brand, also revealed that the family didn't all benefit from the twins' wealth as they wouldn't splash out on luxuries like flying first-class.
"The only time I flew first-class as a kid was when my sisters did these cruises called 'Sail With The Stars'. They were the main event... other than that, never," she said in a recent interview with Asos.
But the actress, who stars alongside Jane Fonda in the new movie 'Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding', also added: "I did lead a very charmed life growing up, but I was aware of the things that were abnormal."
Elizabeth is close to her sisters, and has revealed that she's spent alot of time with them since she's grown up and moved to New York.
"Mary-Kate and Ashley have celebrated my birthday with me every year since I've been in New York, my last four birthdays, and it's been so special," she said. "When you have a fight with a boyfriend or a friend, or whatever, they're here."
Ashley's performance in 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' has been highly praised. Read our review here.
