Taylor Swift has made a slight dig at female pop artists who have struggled to make the transition from girl to woman in the public eye.

The 'Love Story' singer, who picked up two Grammy awards on Sunday (February 12), vowed never to turn to half-naked dance routines as a means of selling records.

On The Today Show, she said: "I'm never going to have the moment where I'm like, 'I'm a woman now, guys, I'm only going to write dark songs and I'm going to dance in my bra all the time. That's not really me.

"I hope things will gradually evolve into growing up as people naturally growing up."

She added: "21 and 22 have been great as far as loving to live alone and loving the independence and travelling the world. I'm kind of in this adventurous phase right now where I'll go out by myself and see where the day takes me."

The singer has a new movie in the pipeline - family animation 'The Lorax', based on Dr. Seuss' story.

She was recently spotted being a tourist around London.
