Chris Pine is reportedly facing a lawsuit from his former talent agents.
The 'Star Trek' actor cut ties with representatives SDB Partners via email last November but the talent agency allege that he still owes them millions of dollars in commissions.
Earnings from the actor's roles in 'Star Trek'. 'Unstoppable' and new film 'This Means War' are to be taken into account. With the actor earning an average of $3 million per film the payout could be worth millions.
According to The Hollywood Reporter SDB claim that Pine has ignored repeated requests to pay them their 10% cut from his roles. As well as money owed from previous work, the company want Pine's future earnings to be taken into account. This could mean the $20 million Chris is reportedly banking from the film adaptations of Tom Clancy's Jay Ryan franchise could be included.
SDB claim that since taking on the star in 2002 when he was an unknown actor his success has soared, according to the lawsuit "nobody was willing to touch Pine" before they came on board.
