EastEnders star Steve McFadden reported an assault at the hands of his ex-girlfriend, who after her arrest, spent Valentine’s Day in custod, it has been reported.
According to The Sun, the incident occurred in his car, and it has been reported that the actor was left bleeding heavily with scratches on his back after the attack from skin specialist and former lover Dr Rachel Sidwell.
The couple have a two-year-old daughter together from their previous year-long relationship, and during her pregnancy the happy couple posed for photos in a glossy magazine and spoke of their excitement at having a child together.
Steve boasted at the time: "I love her so much. She's so clever."
This is the latest in a series of spats between the pair, who were first romantically involved in 2008. Within weeks of meeting Steve, Rachel left her surgeon husband Dr James Green and moved in with the actor.
Days after the two split in 2009, Rachel was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after scratches appeared on his moped and then Steve was arrested in November 2010 after allegations of harassment.
Following their split Rachel returned to her family home which is where she was picked up by police and taken for questioning.
