Cheryl Cole has appeared to slam her former X Factor friend Cher Lloyd after the teen star criticised her for not performing live.
Cher, who was mentored by Cheryl during The X Factor in 2010, said Cheryl would have difficulty singing live without "a nifty little button to press!". Cheryl has not taken this suggestion of Auto-Tune kindly, posting on Twitter to vent her feelings.
"Be careful who you kick on your way up... They kick you twice as hard on your way back down #unnapreciationisugly" Cheryl Tweeted.
Cheryl went on to send Valentine's messages to her followers, as well as saying: "So excited to get home.. Been homesick since i took off ha! @bustercole @Coco_Cole_ can't wait to see you. Hope you've been behaving lol X"
Cheryl Cole is expected to return with a new solo album in 2012 and is currently finishing work in the studio.
