Daniel Radcliffe's 'The Woman In Black' has beaten a huge influx of new blockbusters to take the No. 1 spot at the UK Box Office.

The terrifying thriller took an impressive £3.2 million nationwide over the weekend to head straight in to the top spot.

In a week where the Top 4 was made up entirely of new entries, 'The Muppets' took the silver medal with £2.7 million, followed by 'Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace 3D' (£1.5m) and 'The Vow' (£1.2m).

This week's Top 10 is completed by the entirety of last week's Top 6, including former chart-topper 'Chronicle', which all fall four places to fill this week's Nos. 5 to 10.

'The Woman In Black' has also proven a hit across the Atlantic, where it charted at No. 2 last weekend.
