He told The Sun: “I started talks two weeks before the last one finished. We are talking."
The rest of the judges are yet to be announced but don’t ask Marcus who may join Gary on the panel because he is just as clueless as everyone else.
The Liverpudlian joked: “I don’t really know, I wish I did everyone keeps asking me like I know, why are they going to tell me? I don’t know.”
The singer has already finished his debut album, which was produced by his X Factor mentor. Though he is concentrating on music, the singer didn’t rule out the chance of him appearing on the other side of the X Factor desk in the future.
Marcus revealed: “Maybe in ten years time. I don’t know if anyone would take my criticism seriously, I’m not at Gary Barlow’s standard yet."
