Jennifer Hudson has admitted that she isn’t coping well after the news of Whitney Houston’s death on Saturday.
Jennifer sang an emotional tribute to the late singer at the Grammys on Sunday evening.
Talking to US Weekly, Hudson said: 'It was the greatest honour of my life to be able to be the one to pay tribute to Whitney's memory.”
The 30-year-old went on to describe how she has been an emotional wreck since the death of her idol.
'It was from my heart,' Jennifer said of her version of Whitney’s hit song, I Will Always Love You, adding: 'I haven't stopped crying since she passed. Her family is in my prayers.'
During her performance, Jennifer stood under a spotlight as a video montage of artist’s who have passed away in the last year were paid tribute behind her.
Throughout the song Jennifer appeared to be holding back the tears, finally caving in at the end of her performance.
The performance was an exact replica of a Whitney performance from the 34th Annual Grammy Awards twenty years ago.
