Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is swapping Manhattan for the East End in a new movie role.

The gorgeous actress has signed up for Sally Potter's forthcoming film Bomb but the role involves a tricky Cockney accent. Christina has already begun vocal training to perfect her voice.

The actress is determined to impress critics with her London accent. She told the Daily Telegraph:

"It will only be my voice that changes. I have to play an East London girl so I have hooked up with a voice coach.

"You British always know when someone gets an accent wrong so I am determined to get it right."

Hendricks, who is currently in the UK attending events like the Baftas and last night's Elle Style Awards, will be returing to London later in the year to film the movie. Set during the 1960's Ban the Bomb movement Bomb also stars Elle Fanning and Annette Bening.
